Marc Anderson

Marc Anderson is an award-winning American painter from Wisconsin, celebrated for his plein air landscapes that capture the authentic light and character of place. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Stout, Marc began his career in illustration before discovering his passion for painting outdoors. His work has earned national recognition, including Best in Show at major festivals such as Telluride Plein Air and Sonoma Plein Air, as well as a Gold Medal from the Oil Painters of America Eastern Regional Exhibition. Named one of Plein Air Magazine’s “Top 10 Artists to Collect Now” in 2021, Marc currently lives and paints in Door County, WI, where he and his wife run the M. Anderson Gallery.
