Abby Kaetterhenry

Abby Kaetterhenry (They/Them/Theirs) is an Environmental Science major and Art minor at UWL. They focus on acrylic painting and charcoal but are working to grow their portfolio of media through courses at UWL. Through these mediums Abby wants to realistically replicate nature not only for its beauty but also for scientific accuracy to help with research and environmental awareness. They wish to inspire a wonder for the natural world and to instill a fascination with ecosystems and the wildlife that lives in them. As an aspiring ecologist, Abby’s Plein Air paintings not only reflect their love for the driftless region but also reflect their experience at UWL.
