Cassidy Riemer

Cassidy Riemer is an artist from Lakeville, Minnesota, and a senior at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, majoring in Art with a minor in Digital Media Studies & Design. Her artistic practice combines painting, drawing, and graphic design, allowing her to explore both traditional and digital approaches to visual communication. Cassidy primarily works with watercolor, acrylic, graphite, and pen. She enjoys highly saturated colors, expressive brushstrokes, blending, and texture. Her work focuses primarily on landscapes, with a growing interest in exploring light and shadow. Her graphic design background also influences her approach to color and composition. By moving between the structure of digital design and the freedom of painting, Cassidy uses color, texture, and expressive techniques to explore different styles and discover what best fits each subject.
