Casey Wicka

Casey Wicka is an American painter best known for landscapes of the beautiful Driftless region. Her oil paintings have been included in multiple gallery and museum shows throughout the Midwest. They are crafted in a Renaissance era inspired method, using multiple layers of atmospheric color. She describes her art practice as a meditation on the spiritual symbolism inherent within nature. She volunteers her free time on artwork restoration for a Wisconsin church impacted by fire and vandalism. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Literature and Art History and is currently enrolled in the painting program of the highly acclaimed Juliette Aristides Atelier. Her teaching experience includes oil painting classes at the Winona Arts Center and Minnesota Marine Art Museum.
